Melted snow drips off the edge of the roof

I actually got out my old Sorels for a walk to the mailbox this afternoon. Overkill for three inches of snow, but they have been feeling neglected in the closet these last three years.

Earlier this morning, I was looking at some news photos of Atlanta freeway gridlocks, only about 150 miles southwest of here, and feeling good about being out here in the sticks where most of the traffic leaves tracks like this:
