Thank you! I see these in rows like that kind of often. I think symmetry freaks tend to plant these because they are symmetrical trees.

I think a local nursery must have had a “buy 10 get one free” deal on pear trees years ago – it’s very common to see these in rows like this.
I think you are right about those ‘symmetree’ folks, we have rows of BP’s down here in Texas too.
I do prefer Mother Nature’s method.
