Sometimes the title makes the post “pop,” whether a picture or story.
Sometimes I can’t come up with any title at all, but this one just telegraphed itself.
Yes, but isn’t he colorful?
that izzn’t a good thing, izzit?
I’m something of a lackadaisical gardener, so I had no idea what he was until I looked him up. These things are apparently the gardener’s nemesis and the advice ranged from relocating him to napalming the garden. Being lackadaisical, I just enjoyed how the sunlight looked on his iridescent coloring.
Ouch! I hope you picked that critter off. I know all things have to eat — as long as it’s not on my plants.
I didn’t know what he was until I looked him up later and by that time, he was gone. I hope he didn’t head over to Bob’s tomatoes – that would cause an immediate declaration of war.
This photo shows how greedy a Japanese beetle can be……
Yes – fortunately, he was the only one. I haven’t seen any others, even on Bob’s tomatoes.
great bug picture
Thank you! Isn’t he colorful?
