The fall colors along the Blue Ridge Parkway are starting to pop and photography enthusiasts were vying for tripod space at choice locations this morning.

In contrast with Cartier-Bresson’s Decisive Moment street photography style, I can probably call this my Day Late and a Dollar Short style.

Thank you! I just touched the saturation slider and it turned gaudy so I put it back. I’m going to leave all the colors to Mother Nature.

As if you had created this marvelous image with pencils and crayons……

  5. We get beautiful colors here too during this season but it is nothing compared to what you get: such reds! I am envious! πŸ™‚

It’s not always so brilliant. It seems to be best when the autumn days are sunny and warm and the nights are cool but not freezing. Last year, the weather turned cold quickly and the colors were very muted. You will have your turn! πŸ™‚

Thank you! I’m really enjoying the season this year! The last two years were a little disappointing, but Mother Nature is making it up to us now.
