Well, that’s what it looks like to me.
I worry when Bob removes large bits of his current project this time of year. It tends to be an indicator that we’ll have a long-term houseguest in the spare room over the winter.

You’re very welcome!
…. harder to cook….
But , yes , this can remind of an octopus
Now, there’s an idea! I will let you know if I need a polpo affogato recipe.
Made me smile today!!!
Only a smile, I hope, and not a laugh! Sneezing, coughing and laughing are best avoided while your ribs are healing.
THE spare room? it might block the gateway to Narnia, ya know !
Don’t be silly. Nobody has wardrobes anymore. Oh, you mean the bookshelves? The one in that room only has stuff I don’t use much: old mainframe tech manuals (I don’t suppose you happen to need a copy of CICS for the COBOL Programmer?) and some PC manuals from when PC software came with an actual book.
I hope the octopus gets disentangled soon and no harm is done to your spare room…It wouldn’t be out of place in an Alien movie either. Great photo!
Sadly, 😉 measurements indicated that it wouldn’t fit through a door, so an (outdoor) alternative was found.
Cool name for this motor!
Thank you! It just amazes me that Bob knows exactly what each of those cables and hoses is and where they connect. To me, it’s all just a big mess.
