Thanks, Anna! Isn’t he colorful? That’s what caught my eye – he was very small, but the bright blue and white made him stand out.

We had a season, about five years ago, when these things were everywhere. Since then, they’ve been a lot less common. They must have radically depleted their food plants.
This nasty critter looks really beautiful in your photograph 🙂
good eye, patience, timing, mastery of the photographic instrument!
I like that, but really, it’s a matter of taking 25 or 30 photos of the same thing and maybe one will turn out OK….
